Keynote Speaker: Courtney Thompson

Two-time Olympic medalist and former setter for the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team

Courtney Thompson is a two-time Olympic medalist and former setter for the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team, where she competed at the highest level of international sport for nearly a decade. She helped lead Team USA to a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, in addition to capturing gold at the 2014 FIVB World Championship. A standout collegiate athlete at the University of Washington, she won an NCAA national championship and set an NCAA record for assists per game, establishing herself as one of the top setters in the history of the sport.

Following her playing career, Thompson parlayed her deep understanding of the skills and mindset required to compete at the highest levels into everyday application for corporate environments. She currently serves as a Mindset Coach with Finding Mastery, the high-performance consulting firm founded by Dr. Michael Gervais, where she partners with executives, teams, and global organizations to translate lessons from elite sport into practical strategies for leadership, team trust, and individual peak performance. Drawing on her experience competing on the world stage, she delivers keynotes and workshops for leading organizations including Nike, Microsoft, Salesforce, HP, Google, and Volvo.

In addition to her work with Finding Mastery, Thompson serves as the VP of Athlete and Coach Experience for League One Volleyball (LOVB), contributing to the growth and development of the sport at the professional level. She is an experienced keynote speaker known for inspiring leaders and teams to perform their best under pressure, build high-trust environments, and sustain excellence over time.
